Horizons at New Canaan Country School is pleased to share that Leigh Kennedy has been appointed as our Interim Executive Director as of October 12, 2026.
Leigh has been an active member of the Horizons Board since 2020 and served as Board Chair from 2024 through 2026. Throughout her tenure, her thoughtfulness, attention to detail, and deep passion for our mission have been evident in everything she does. Having served as a steady, behind-the-scenes presence during this transition, Leigh will now continue leading our organization in this capacity while our search for a permanent Executive Director remains ongoing.
As shared in previous communications, Horizons has partnered with DovetailED, engaged key stakeholders, and established a representative search committee to identify our next mission-aligned leader.
